Ayza Akhtar is a producer and artist examining and challenging ideas of South Asian diasporic identity.

I am a first-generation Pakistani-American who has spent a decade producing in arts and culture internationally - developing artist development programs, facilitating workshops that critically examine form and medium, and managing programming at arts organizations. In my personal practice I examine the breadth of diasporic and post-diasporic South Asian experience through and alongside an ever-expanding experimentation and exploration of mediums from text to mixed reality.
